Dear reader,
I have gone from clearcut logging, to clear cut blogging! I started my computer nerd career working in Washington State as a cartographer, doing GIS work and writing AML code. I studied forestry in school, and my core idea was to be able to do it in a sustainable way. I am no longer a cartographer, but am very interested in geography and environmental causes. I have given up paper for pixels now. Talk about conservation…
I have created this site to try and help out the common WordPress user, as well as the superabusers (WP-Hack) like myself that can get around PHP and CSS a little bit but in no way have been trained and run into problems all of the time. I have been through so many forums and comments sections looking for help it is silly. I am not a go to guy for answers, but I will try my best to help you with your problem if it relates to something I have posted on.
I will make posts regarding what I do step by step, and hopefully if you are a novice it will be easy to follow along and make your own successful blog. I will be learning somewhat as I am going as well, so please be patient.
My history in blogging started in March of 2006. I have created a successful blog called The Real Taiwan and I am assisting in another site called Style in Taiwan (women’s fashion from Taiwan).
I have spent countless hours sifting through plugins and manipulating themes trying to find the best format to please myself and hopefully the audience. It is my hope that my experience will be of help to someone, somewhere out there.
