Hey, I did read, it, but I was a little buzzed last night, and to be honest, I just didn't get it. Seems simpler sober ;) I'll give it a shot in a few minutes. Sorry about that...

Did you read my full post on that plugin ? I guess not ... anyway if it's javascript code just put the javascript code in the "Link/Code" column

I added them with the code from TLA and Gogle and Firefox etc... Just the stock code of their site, thrown into a widget. The TLA one is JavaScript. I think the Firefox one is easy... But of course, that one is only for credits...

Those seem to be embedded in the theme. If that's the case then just modify your theme and replace the link with a hidden affiliate link.
Btw I just released a new version for this plugin that can also automatically replace predefined keywords ( still in your posts only ) with your hidden affiliate links

You can see that the Spread Firefox and the Text link Ads affiliates in the sidebar have the referral number still there. I hear what you are saying. It would be nice to change those too. I need to sleep though. Already 4 in th e morning here. I threw you a link at the link section in the footer. Thanks for stopping by, and let me know about anything new you have, as long as it is stable. I am creating a very doable strategy for making a decent blog, but it requires stability form the components. Thanks man, and again, welcome!

The plugin doesn't change the affiliate links that are already posted on your site. That would be a nice feature I might add if I see others that might want it.

Hmmm. I set it up as you said, then I clicked on the link that you made, and found my way to text link ads! Yeah. But the link in my sidebar didn't change. The cool one with the photo. Maybe I was expecting a little more magic. I think people would love an easy way to protect their affilate status and this seems like it is going gin the right direction.. I will make a post about it for sure after I find out if it does what I want it to do., So far, it is at least as good as the technique I used before. But it is easier than that for the Uber Noob.

This should just work, define a new hidden link and for slug set something like : go/tla
for link/code set your full tla link and at the description just put "Text Link Ads"

then you can write a new post ( maybe about my plugin :D ) and put a link like http://clearcutblogging.com/go/tla in it .... when someone click that link they should be redirected to text-link-ads.com using your referral code.

thanks, Yes it kind of was an advertisement but then you could say that URI I use when I post a comment can also be considered as advertisement. the comment was also related to your post and it gives more value to your readers by shoing them more ways to do what you explained. And you deleted the link to the plugin page anyway...or maybe I just forgot to post it :)
