First Things First
I am going to upgrade the site from Wordpress 2.05 to Wordpress 2.2 using Fantastico (a tool on the cpanel from my server) that makes for quick installations of Wordpress and easy as pie upgrades! Here goes…
What to do?
1) Log into your cpanel
2) Click on Fantatico
3) On the right, it will show you which installations of of Wordpress you have installed that aren’t up to date.
Here is what was presented after the install:
Upgrading…
Initializing Parameters – Done.
Generating MySQL Backup – Done.
Generating Files Backup – Done.
Copying New Files – Done.
Upgrade completed
Your installation of WordPress was upgraded.

Please save following information. You will need it in order to restore if something went wrong
