Akismet Wordpress Plugin
Spam is the bane of every bloggers existence. You will get spammed early and often in your blogging career. Akismet is a Wordpress base install plugin (it comes with the initial installation) that will help you keep spam at bay. Click on the plugin tab and then find Akismet and activate it. Oh no! You don’t have an API key. It’s ok. Just apply for it. It is easy and free. You should have one in less than 5 minutes.
