Target Adsense
Target Adsense is a Wordpress plugin that allows you to easily ad the and tags to your page. You don’t want Google targeting the wrong stuff, like parts of your blog that you’ve hacked together and have them display totally irrelevant adverts on your site. They don’t want that either, so I have installed this plugin to help me target the content of each blog post. The Add Adsense targeting button in the post and page editor? was not working correctly but I don’t mind much, as long as the post content gets the most weight, and not items hanging out in the footer and what not. I had many Wordpress adverts for a while in one blog because of the link in the footer, and I didn’t use the targeting method.
You can download the Target Adsense plugin here.
Download, install in your blog’s plugin folder, and the n activate. Then go into options and look for Adsense Targeting. Select the first option. You have just helped Google bring more relevant content to your site:)
If you want to check if it is there, view your page source code and find it. It should be just under the div class=”PostContent” on your site
